Social Studies

is the study of people in relation to their past, present and future. Students learn about different cultures and traditions in order to be culturally aware. Social studies encourages curiosity and develops an understanding of a rapidly changing world. Students develop the knowledge and values needed to participate actively in their families, classrooms, school, and community.
